Ride the Generic Ministry Van 
(our most critical volunteer opportunity)

The Generic Ministry van drives into Boston every Tuesday and Wednesday night, leaving Needham at 7:00 pm and returning by 9:30 pm. On Tuesday, the van parks on the Boston Common near Park Street. Homeless clients line up to receive a bagged meal, clean clothes, blankets and toiletries. On Wednesday, we offer the same items, but we drive throughout the city and find the homeless wherever they are congregating.

We need two adults, each night and every week, to make the trips successful. New volunteers: This is an amazing way to experience the fulfillment of helping others. You will always be paired with an experienced driver.
